She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ray Hartsell and Ola Coble Hartsell; her husband Edsel Edwards; her son Dane Edwards; and her brother Jerry Hartsell.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Mills and Mike Edwards (Beverly) of Peachland; her daughter-in-law Judy Edwards of Peachland; and her grandchildren, Chad Mills of Peachland, Lindsay Marshall of Peachland, Chris Edwards (Tonda) of Peachland, Candace Lamonds (Tracy) of Peachland, Betsy Cox (Michael) of Marshville and David Edwards (Caty) of Wadesboro. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Home Baptist Church (1617 New Home Church Rd, Peachland, NC 28133). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the same location.
