It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Lee Thompson (Peachland, North Carolina), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Solon and Lucille Elrod Thompson; and his daughter Sabrina Mullis. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Gore Thompson; his daughter April Hoover (Mark) of Monroe; his son-in-law Randy Mullis of Peachland; his grandchildren, Michael Bishop (Becca) of Surfside Beach, SC, Makayla Bishop of Monroe, Nathan Fulks of Peachland and Callie Thompson of Peachland; his siblings, Eugene Thompson (Sue) of Moore, OK, Larry Thompson (Jan) of Jacksonville, FL and Lawanda Wilson (Garry) of Monterey, TN; his mother-in-law Janis Gore of Crossville, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Bennett of Crossville, TN and Kevin Gore of Crossville, TN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
