She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ross and Adeline "Miss Addie" Caudle Ross; and her siblings, Fred Ross, Hoover Ross, Charles Ross, Hazel Lee, Louise Caudle, Virginia Younts, Keith Ross, Graham Ross, Malene Beachum, Margaret McNair, Irvin Ross, Wendell Ross, Joe Ross and Doris Hinson.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Frank Thomas, Sr.; and her children, Sarah Yvonne Burr, Joe Frank Thomas, Jr. (Carol) and John Gregory Thomas (Berry). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Fountain Hill UMC Building fund, c/o Don Horne, 2152 Cappadocia Church Road, Peachland, NC 28133.
