He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Franklin Durham and Gladys Phelps Lance; and his nephew Michael Riddle, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Courtney D. Powell (Brandon) and Barry Jordan "B. J." Durham (Julia); his stepson Chris Earles (Christel); his siblings, Janice Durham, Jeff Lance and Craig Lance; and his grandchildren, Casey, Chyler, Brayden, Sarah, Kaiden, Josie, Madilyn, Caleigh, Camden and Collin.
