He was predeceased by : his parents, James A. Roche, Sr. and Mary C. Roche; his nephews, Michael Dhooge and Daniel Pietrafitta; and his niece Elizabeth Dhooge.

He is survived by : his sisters, Barbara A. Dhooge (late Eugene) of Braintree and Judith M. Malcolm of Pelham, NC.; his nephew Eugene; and his niece Kristin Dhooge.
