It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Evans of Pelham, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Alvin Naumann and Ruth Wurzbacher Naumann; and her husband James Ronald Evans, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Rhonda Myers of Pelham, NC, James Ronald Evans, Jr. (Debra) of Ringgold, VA, Vicki Joan Wrenn (Ricky) of Ringgold, VA, Richard Tony Evans (Teresa) and Ricky Wayne Evans (Lois); and her sister Ruth Amelia Phoebus of Baltimore, MD.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
