She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Locklear and Zettie Mae Locklear; her husband Gene H. "Squeaky" Dial; her son-in-law Gary Lowry; her grandson Gene Gariard Lowry; and her siblings, Randolph Locklear, Mable Locklear, Hurbert Locklear, Vernon Locklear and Rena Mae Locklear.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Dial (Lisa) of Maxton, NC, Jimmy Dean Dial, Anita Dial Lowry of Pembroke, NC and Mary Dial Locklear (Paul) of Cameron, NC; her siblings, Pandora Jacobs, Gwendalyn Allen, Antonette Locklear, Adolph Locklear, Herman Locklear, Ricky Locklear and Victor Locklear; her grandchildren, Natasha (Edward), Ashley, Serena (Joseph), Harvey (Justice), Brian, Matthew, Tyler (Makayla), Connor and Brooke; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Marcus, Jeremy, Mattlyn, Rilynn, McKinley, Revi and Matthias.
