She is survived by: her mother Leola Locklear Lowry; her children, Anthony McGirt (Jane) of Pembroke, Leevern McGirt (Wanda) of Maxton, John Derek McGirt (Barbara) of Maxton and Veronica McGirt Jacobs (Sam) of Maxton; and her grandchildren, Tanya, Brandon, Tony, Chassity, Yancey, David, Alexander, Erica, John, Shanelle, Ambria and Julie. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, she was not just a mother and grandmother to her own children but to a host of family and friends.
