He is survived by: his children, Nicole Locklear of Pembroke, Anthony Locklear, Jr. (Phyllis) of Pembroke, Junie Locklear (Jennifer) of Pembroke, Eric Locklear (Tanya) of Pembroke and Mickey Locklear (Tonya) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Kayla, Justin (Bri), Sequoia, Alona, Emery, Anna, Jeremiah, Ava and Nathanal; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Journee and Gunner; his sister Margaret Ann Dodson (David); and his close friend Ruth Jacobs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel (2305 Prospect Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ages Baptist Church.
