She is survived by: her mother Katherine Hunt; her husband Ancile Chavis, Sr.; her children, Ancial Chavis, Jr. (Dana) of Chesapeake, Jason Chavis, Katherine Spangler and Yolanda Thompson (Terry, Sr) of Lancaster, SC; and her siblings, Charles R. Hunt (Nancy) of Monroe, NC, Zeddie Emrich of Greer, SC and Gwendolyn Roithmeyer of Stallings, NC. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
