She is survived by: her sons, Carlos Sampson (MJ) and Conner Johnson (Takoda); her grandchildren, Kaylon Sampson (Rachael), Carlena Wilkins (Noah), CJ Sampson (Angelina), Mila, Kylie and Koa; her great grandchildren, Nova and Eliana; her siblings, Charlie Wayne Sampson (Wendy), Cliff Sampson (Sally), Argie Locklear (Gerald) and Cathy Sampson; her nephew Ron Sampson; her close friend Robert Earl Locklear; Malayzia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel (2305 Prospect Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
