He was predeceased by: his parents, Taffy Locklear and Hattie Mae Locklear; his wife Susie Locklear; his son Danny B. Locklear; his grandchildren, Joseph Locklear and Ozar Locklear; and his brother Lynn Locklear.
He is survived by: his children, Fondarie Locklear, Sterling Locklear (Annie Rose), Carrie Sue Brooks, Paula Kay Locklear (Ronald Brown), Gregg Locklear (Abby) and Craig Locklear (Veronica); and his close friend Dale Pulley. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
