She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Sanderson of Lumberton, NC, Sylvia Locklear of Lumberton, NC, Kathy Hunt (Leon) of Lumberton, NC, Tonya Hunt (Brian) and Kayla Robeson of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, Phillip Sanderson (Wanda) of Maxton, NC, Kenneth Hunt of Rowland, NC, Leon Sanderson of Lumberton, NC and Jerry Sanderson of Lumberton, NC.. She is also survived by ses numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (407 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
