It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Archie Ransom (Pembroke, North Carolina), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Ransom and Coleda Ransom; his son Harvey Ransom; and his sister Connie. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ransom; and his children, Hervey Ransom, Geno Ransom and Cindy Ransom (Shawn). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
