He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Walter "Sweetie"; his son Brian Chavis; his granddaughter Brianna Kate Locklear; his siblings, Wilson Chavis, Willam "Can" Chavis, Francis Chavis and Dosey Chavis; his wife Cynthia Chavis; his children, Telisa Hunt, Don (Angel) and Johnny Dial (Medra); his grandchildren, Danita Little (Justin), Angelica Chavis McIntrye (Stephen), Kateri Chavis (Chris), Katina Oxendine (Sequoyah), Cassidy, Caileigh, Brett Philip Locklear, Ryan Flanagan and Don "Christian" Chavis; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Jaxxon, Akiyah, Aleu, Hamilton and Brian. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
