Hazel Carter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 13, 2026, at the age of 78, Hazel Carter (Pembroke, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reedy Locklear and Annie Neal Locklear; her great grandchild Master A. J. Collins; and her siblings, Shelby Cummings, Clara Oxendine, Bobby Locklear, James S. Locklear and Robert E. Locklear.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Carter (Shelia), Kim Jacobs (Kevin) and Crystal Stueck (Shain); her sisters, Marnece Locklear and Verlene Tyner; and her close friend Wade Carter. She is also survived by grandchildren and three precious great-grandchildren.
