He is survived by: his wife Reba Jacobs; his children, Pernell Jacobs (April), Redell Jacobs (Cassandra), Vardell Jacobs and Teresa Jacobs (Bobby); his grandchildren, Ronald, Christie, Jarrod, Ciera, Jordan, Tristan, Andrew, Zachery, Emily, Aiyana, Allie, Ava and Aiden Jacobs; and his great grandchildren, Jasslie, Chanel, Matthew Jr., Joel, Noel, Joshua, Paisley, Ellanora, Sailor, Macie, Natalie, Mattie and Jonah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel (2305 Prospect Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
