He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Townsend and Julia Lowery Bullard; his siblings, Mildred Townsend, Karen Dial and Bobby Townsend; and his close friend Becky Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Locklear (Tina), Christopher Locklear (Nikie), Harley Townsend and Angela Locklear; and his siblings, Gary Townsend, Larry Townsend, Dale Townsend, Leslie Bullard and Jeannie Locklear. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
