He was predeceased by: his parents, Methy Strickland and Lucille Jones Strickland; and his siblings, Annie Lois Carmody, Mary Lois Locklear, Jimmy Strickland and Edward Strickland.
He is survived by: his friend Thomas Felton; his children, Ryan Campbell (Sandra) and Erica Strickland; his grandchildren, Alona, Brandis, Trinity, Kaylee, Ryan Jr. and Julia; his great grandchildren, Zaden, Brandis Jr., Ava and Alonna; his siblings, Betty Oxendine, Minnie Oxendine, Susan Strickland, Russell Strickland (Pat), Martinis Strickland (Tara) and Terry Strickland (Lisa); his niece Chanel; his nephews, Mike, John, Marco and Austin; and his close friend Lou Ellen Chavis.
