With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Tene Harris (Pembroke, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Harris; her parents, Ada Locklear and Emily Locklear; her stepfather John Locklear; and her siblings, Christine Oxendine, Debra Cummings, Aworth Locklear, Edward "Ada" Locklear and John Pat Locklear.
She is survived by: her sons, James B. Harris Jr. (Jo Ann), Dwight Harris (Tina) and Brant P. Harris (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Johanna Jacobs (Mickey), Jamie Harris, Aaron Harris (Callie), Jacob Harris and Katelyn Harris; her great grandchildren, Kenadi Jones and Elias Harris; and her siblings, Emily Oxendine, Merriel Locklear, Charlie T. Locklear, Stephen Locklear and Colonel R. Locklear.
In lieu of flowers memoriams can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607 US, in honor of her granddaughter, Kenadi Jones.
