She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudie Locklear and Martha Ann Locklear; her grandparents, Sheridian (Pappy) and Nancy Jane Locklear (Mammy); her husband Nolan Jacobs; her siblings, Ivine, Mary Alice, Annie Lois and Carl Deese; her cousins, Catherine, Marvin Roscoe, Marvin Lee and Bertha Lee (Little Gal); and her son-in-law Carlyle Cummings.
She is survived by: her children, John Deaton Jacobs, Carol Dean Jacobs (Larry), Mary Cummings, Nolan Jacobs Jr. and Glenda Lois Hunt (LD); and her siblings, Thurston, Kirby Locklear, Martha Jane Locklear, Mayon Locklear (Tyrone), Alice Cummings (Ray) and Margaret Santiago. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
