Martha Evelyn Lowery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, Martha Evelyn Lowery of Pembroke, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Lowery; her parents, Edward Locklear and Beatrice Locklear; her siblings, Wilma Bowen, Thernace Locklear and Odis Locklear; her cousin Martha Frances Locklear; and her niece Debra Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Kesha Hunt (Donnie) and Michael Lowery (Karey); her siblings, Eleanor Ammons (Ben), Eunice Lowery (Charles), Gene Locklear (Letha) and Mitchell Locklear (Janice); her grandchildren, Moriah (Austin), Noah (Kaitlan), Daniel (Kinsli), Hunter (Erica) and Kennedy (Marcus); her great grandchildren, Paisley, Pryston, Marcus Junior, Levi and Damien; and her close friend Peggy Chavis VanFleet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bear Swamp Baptist Church (1948 St Anna Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
