It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Lou Burch of Pembroke, North Carolina, born in Seminole, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Tharp and Inez E. Stubbs; her husband Garner D. Burch; and her grandsons, Bill Richardson and Todd Michael Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Richardson of Shannon, NC, Michael Burch of Oklahoma, Jolanda Welker (Paul) of Cache, Sharonda Denney (Lyle) of Nashville and Marvina Wallace (Tymothy) of Pembroke, NC; her grandchildren, Shawn Gibson (Susan) of Shannon, NC, Kelly Burch of Oklahoma, James Welch (KaLeigh) of Greenville, TX, Carolyn Kelley (Brian) and Nathan Taylor of Bloomington; and her great grandchildren, Sabrina Gibson of Shannon, OK, Steven VanPelt (Heather) of Raeford, NC, Stephanie Hungness (Steven) of Rock Hill, SC, Eliana Welch of Greenville, TX, Marin Kelley, Lomé Kelley and Narra Rose Kelley.
