She is survived by: her daughters, Mirian Chavis and Shannon C. Vick; her daughter-in-law Pattie Chavis; her grandchildren, Ashley Chavis and Kieran Chavis Hunt; her great grandchildren, Karleigh Madelyn and Brysen Keith; and her brothers, Kenneth Strickland, Harris Strickland and JP Strickland.
