We announce the death of Myrtle Brewington Harvey (Pembroke, North Carolina), who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 90. Myrtle will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husbands, John K. Rexroat and David Harvey; and her sisters, Eva Sampson, Jeanie Mandel, Sarah Scott and Ruth Stankiewicks.

She is survived by: her brother Hardee Brewington; her sons, Stephen Rexroat and Joe Rexroat; her grandchildren, Jessica Rexroat, Jena Collins, Austin Rexroat, Max, Aiden Rexroat, David and Josh Harvey; and her great grandchildren, Tensley, Breckin, Finnley Collins, Lylah Rexroat and Camden Rexroat.
