He is survived by: his children, Jodella Locklear (Joey), Joshua Emanuel Jones and Jacob Ethan Jones; his siblings, Randy Jones (Teresa), Johnny "Brent" Jones and Pam Lowery (Marcus); his grandchildren, Jaylen Lamark Locklear and Jahna Lynn Locklear; and his close friend Rick Lashmit.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burnt Swamp Baptist Church (1948 St Anna Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
