With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Ann Smith of Pembroke, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Salemi and Viola Hope Hunt; her husband Frankie M. Smith; and her siblings, Johnny Salemi and Mary Ellen Corrigan.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Britt (Edward) and Jeff Hollingsworth (Linda); her stepson Jeff Smith (Shannon); her sister Terry Valentine (Bill); her grandchildren, Nick (Aya), Amber, Steven and Madalynn; and her great grandchildren, Leo, Nico, Joanna and Nova.
