He was predeceased by: his parents, Danny Locklear and Curlin Locklear; and his great grandchild Paisley Hope Carter. He is survived by: his wife Anita Locklear; his children, Kimberly Hope Rogers (Luke) of Lumberton, Timothy Ryan Oxendine (Saprina) of Pembroke and Willie Austin Locklear (Richeal) of Raynham; and his brothers, David Locklear (Lisa) of Pembroke, Terry Eugene Locklear (Frances) of Pembroke, Terry Lynn Locklear (Sandra) of Lumberton and Stevie Locklear (Teresa). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and extensive church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church (3546 Evergreen Church Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
