She is survived by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Wesley Hunter; her sons, Adrian Wesley Hunter (Diane) of Navarre, FL and Craig William Hunter (Amy) of Clemmons; her grandchildren, Eli Wesley Hunter, Noah Spencer Hunter and Rae Lee Boag; and her siblings, Jeanette Spencer and Lee G. Spencer (Kim).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's research through charities such as the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
