She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Long and Eulala Long; her husband Vernon Blakeley; her sons, Ferrell Blakeley, Donald Blakeley and Mark Blakeley; her sisters, Wilma Johnson and Mildred Matthews; and her daughter Betty Accetora.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Bridges. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethel Church (6340 Ridge Rd, Tobaccoville, NC 27050). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
