She is survived by: her children, Terry Grantham, Judy Barnes of Wilson, NC, Vernell Grantham of Goldsboro, NC and Anthony Grantham (Angeline) of Pikeville, NC; her brother Samuel Artis (Elaine) of Dudley, NC; her siblings-in-law, Etheline Artis, Peggy Bryant of Greenville, NC, Mozella Grantham of Pikeville, NC, Gloria Artis of Pikeville, NC, James Grantham (Geraldine) of Washington, DC and William Whitley; and her close friend Zola Johnson of Pikeville, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Elm Grove Ministries Inc. (118 Booker St, Pikeville, NC 27863). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
