She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Smith and Irene Tyner Smith of Pikeville; her brother Robert Glenn; and her husband John Wayne Peele. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Mumpower (Kesley) of Chapel Hill, NC, Janet Skelton (Shelby), Jean Kauff, Jo Ann Hubbard (Edgar) and Mahlon Smith (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
