He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Short and Dorothy Dow Short. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Shafer Short (Amy); his children, Tina Alyce Gilmore (Brian Presto), Toby John Short (Staci Lynne) and Todd Ray Short (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Breven B. Gilmore (Gloria Stracquadanio), Skylar Malloy Gilmore (Connor Paugh), Haley M. Short and Anthony Joseph Presto (AJ); and his brothers, C. Randy Short (Donna) and Tim Short. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
