He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Annette" Wicker and William "Charles" Whitehurst (Jeannie); his stepchildren, Rita Cameron and Ricky Poole (Angela); his sister Mary Alice Etheridge; his granddaughters, Crystal Glisson (William) and Tammy Person; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Hallock (Joe) and Carter Person. He is also survived by 13 step-great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
