He is survived by : his wife Mattie Horton Artis; his children, Clifton Harris (Gail) of Winston Salem, NC, Willie Frank Artis Jr. (Ruth) of Winston Salem, NC, Travone Graham of Atlanta, GA., Veronica Gervin of Goldsboro, NC, Betty Jean "BJ" Freeman of Greensboro, NC and Audrey Rene; his siblings, Ronnie Lee Artis of Goldsboro and Ernestine Lewis (Thaddeus) of Goldsboro, NC; his siblings-in-law, Tanya Artis of Eureka, NC, Carrie Horton of Pikeville, NC, Verna Core of Dudley, NC and Ervin Peacock Sr. of Pikeville, NC; and his goddaughter Lillie "Mae" Dickerson of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
