He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Sadie; his wife Sandra Kay Ayers Cain; and his siblings, John, Bill, Nancy, Linda and Peggy.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Cain (Amanda) and Michael Cain (Amber); his grandchildren, Kayla Renee'Cain Smith (Jacob), Austin Lee Cain and Junior Ray Cain; and his siblings, Verlie Mae Ayers (Ronnie) and Leroy Cain.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
