Garry Eldon Chilton Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garry Eldon Chilton Jr. of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Garry Eldon Chilton, Sr.; and his grandparents, George Allen, Annie Ruth Hooker Doby, Eldon Lee and Lottie Tucker Chilton.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah Doby Chilton; his wife Lesa Ann George Chilton; his son George Lee Chilton; his sisters, Adrienne (Byron Isaacs) and Jamie (Kenneth Simmons); his parents-in-law, Jack and Elizabeth George; his siblings-in-law, Jack and Vickie George; and his siblings' children, J. T. Simmons, Brodie Simmons, Cory George, Samuel George and Dakota Simmons.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Westfield Baptist Church (6713 Westfield Rd, Westfield, NC 27053). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (443 Simmons Grove Church Rd, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
