She was predeceased by: her husband Tony Worrell, Jr.; her sons, Bryan Tilton and Billy Tilton; her granddaughter Abby Tilton; her great grandchild Josh Tilton; her grandson Grant Tilton; and her siblings, Bertha Jordan, Chester Newman, Jeff Newman, Grover Newman and Ernest Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Tilton (Randy), Gary Tilton (Ruamie) and Larry Tilton (Evelyn); her stepson Donald Worrell; and her grandchildren, Amy Tilton, Samantha Tilton Bottoms, Alison Tilton Slate, Amanda Worrell, Michael Johnson and Matthew Johnson. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
