He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Gray Moorefield; and his wife Joy Lynn Moorefield. He is survived by: his mother Alice Dalton Moorefield; his daughter Hazel Moorefield; his sister Rebecca Inman; his nephews, Daniel Moorefield, Timothy Lunford and Joshua Davis; and his aunts and uncles, Barbara Ruppard (Larry), Irene Gosnell, William Dalton (Brenda) and Mitchell Dalton.
