We bid farewell to Jacqueline Sams (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Jacqueline touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Gordon and Minnie Boyles Gordon; her husband Elijah R. Sams, Jr.; and her son Dexter Eugene Sams. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Sams McClerin, Donna Sams Johnson (Garry), David G. Sams and Daniel E. Sams (Tara); her grandchildren, Dominique McClerin, Jeremy Johnson (Jessica), Courtney Johnson Stichka (Albert III), Elijah Sams and George Sams; her great grandchildren, Banks, Sailor, Wells Johnson, Albert IV, Ellis, Oliver Stichka and Alisa Webster; her great great grandchildren, Grayson and Olivia Webster; and her sister Nancy Gordon Poore. She is also survived by loving nieces & nephews; & many dear friends & neighbors.
