He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Holt and Opal Inman Holt; and his sister Connie Holt Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Judy Simmons Holt; his daughter Megan Holt Bentley (Tyler); his granddaughter Emerson Bentley; his sister Denise Holt Stephens (Dennis); and his nieces and nephews, Kim Foster (Neal), Johnny Lynch (Suzanne), Sarah Bell (Austin), Logan Stephens (Iva) and John Ray Lynch.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery (850 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
