He was predeceased by: his parents, Gomery Dairell Holt and Polly Poindexter Holt Hardy; his son Michael Holt; and his brothers, Stephen Holt and Jeffrey Brian Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Whitt Holt; his grandson Caleb Holt; his siblings, Sandra (Randy Davis), Janet (Nelson Rector), Greg (Johnnie Holt), Tim (Marcela Holt) and Mark (Kim Holt); and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Old Siloam Church (193 Hardy Rd, Siloam, NC 27047).
