It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Allen Davis of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Childs Davis and Jennie "Eva" Atkins Davis; his brothers, James Burton Davis and Charles Leon Davis; and his nephew Ryan Charles Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Leah Mae Bateman Davis; his daughters, Pamela Leigh Gwyn (Brian) and Christy Allen Davis; his sister Sylvia Jane Collins (Joe); his grandchildren, Whittney Harris (Matt), Lindsay Tipping and Allen James Kincaid; his great grandchildren, Zaddock Arnder, Nolan Harris, Walt Harris, Charlie Tipping and Isla Harris; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Davis and Judy Davis.
