He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Carter and Thelma Simpson Carter. He is survived by: his fiancée Linda Thomas; his siblings, Billy Carter (Judy) and Barbara Moorefield (Roger); his cousin Doug Carter; and his nieces and nephews, Kim, Chase, Ashley Moorefield, Kelly Stewart and Timmy Ring.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
