She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband J. D. Autry; her parents, Preston Brooks and Doris Brooks; her sister Hazel Pridgen; her niece Sherry Autry; her daughter Angela Reiter (David) of West End; her granddaughter Ashley Rieter; her brother Paul Brooks of Pinebluff; and her nieces and nephews, Melanie Pridgen, Andrea Lang (Kevin), Cletus Fred Pridgen, Jr. (Robin), Chris Brooks (Donna) and Tammy Bryant. She was also cherished by many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
