With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Joyce Lovette Thomas of Pinehurst, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Theodore "Ted" Lovette Sr. and Amtrak (Sarah Mildred Ivey Lovette); her husband Watson Benjamin "Ben" Thomas Jr.; and her brother William Theodore Lovette Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Ivey Stafford of Myrtle Beach, Caroline Joyce Thomas of Newport and Sarah Margaret Thomas Jones of Otway; her grandson Steven Benjamin Thomas (Twyla); her sisters, Gay Lovette Workman (Terry) of San Antonio and Kathryn Lovette Blowers (Robert) of Murrells Inlet; her grandchildren, Lincoln Phillip Benjamin Thomas (Cassady), Mattie Emmanuel Iana Thomas, Charlotte Amelia Thomas and Spencer Thomas Jones; and her great grandchild Corinne Jane Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
