With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Coy Scott McNeill of Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty McNeill and Samuel McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Cindy McNeill; his siblings, Joanna Mason and Mark McNeill; his siblings-in-law, Libby McNeill, Becky Owen, Gary Mason and Joe Owen; his nieces, Katie Molina (Michael) and Allison Koontz (Wesley); his nephew Caleb Mason (Dana); his father-in-law William Burbage; his stepchildren, Lindsay Mathews (Dave), Jackson Sams and Adam Sams; and his stepgrandsons, David and Russ Mathews. He is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
