He is survived by : his wife Janey Hardy Douglas; his children, Mark Douglas (Dorcas) of Cary, Gordon Douglas (Lisa) of Greenville and Nancy Brady (Stephen) of Tryon; his grandchildren, Joshua Douglas (Alexis) of Charlotte, Andrew Douglas of Downingtown, PA, Caroline Douglas of Kannapolis, Emily Smith (Dane) of Chesapeake, VA, Rachel Mitchell (Brian) of Cary, Kendall Douglas of Raleigh, Wesley Brady of Campobello, SC and Sarah Douglas of Cary; his great grandchildren, Ava, Everette, Elliana, Theo, Axton and Luke; and his siblings, Margaret Vaughn, Janice Dyer (Ben) of Midlothian, VA. and John Douglas (Karen) of Danville, VA..
