She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Douglas and Lena Douglas (Turner); her former husband James Garrett Bradford; and her daughter Patricia B. Garst of Covington, GA.. She is survived by: her children, James D. Bradford (Adele) of Whispering Pines, NC, Dr. Cheryl A. Billingsley (John) and Sandra L. Hammac of Whispering Pines, NC; her stepchildren, Sharon L. Welsh of Wilmington, NC, Olin H. Welsh, Jr. (Rusty), Amy W. Edelberg (Ralph) of Raleigh, NC and Mark A. Welsh of Raleigh, NC; her son-in-law John Garst of Covington, GA; and her brothers, Dr. Bobby Douglas of Bruce, MS and Sherman Douglas (Carolyn) of Mobile, AL.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
