He was predeceased by : his parents, Marcus Thompson and Ruby Thompson of Raeford; and his daughter Heather Thompson McClendon of Raeford. He is survived by : his wife Elaine Thompson of Pinehurst; his daughters, Tiffani Sheppard of West End and Alyssa Keith of Whispering Pines; his sister Doris Smith of Waynesville; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Harper Sheppard, Baker Keith, Harley and Kylie McClendon.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to First Health Hospice and Palliative Care.
